About This Event

A 2-Hour Yin yoga immersion for full body restoration

Q&A to follow if you are more curious!

Our bodies are always striving for homeostasis—finding equilibrium to keep us healthy, happy, and in balance. Yet, life can throw us off course, and we sometimes need a little extra support to bring our systems back to centre.

In this 2-hour Yin Yoga session, we will tap into the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and combine it with targeted and profound Yin poses for a complete restoration of the body and mind.

What to Expect:

  • Yin Yoga for Deep Tissue Release: We will journey through the body with a series of Yin yoga poses that reach deep into the fascia, joints, and physical and emotional scar tissue. Yin’s long-held postures will allow you to soften into those areas that need extra attention and release.
  • Trigger Point Therapy & Gua Sha Scraping: Throughout the practice, Mysan will incorporate Gua Sha—a technique from Chinese medicine involving gentle scraping of the skin to improve circulation and release tension. Combined with trigger point therapy, this will help target meridian lines and superficial layers to rejuvenate your body’s flow and vitality.
  • Restoration and Balance: The intention of this session is to support your body’s natural self-regulating process (homeostasis), so that you can move through your days with greater ease, adjust to life’s shifts, and restore balance within. By supporting both the physical and energetic body, you’ll find harmony and relief from tension, fatigue, and stress.

Who Can Benefit:

Whether you’re new to Yin yoga or an experienced practitioner, this class is for anyone seeking deep restoration, improved flexibility, or emotional balance. All levels are welcome!

Join Mysan and experience a session of replenishment and renewal—leave feeling restored, refreshed, and ready to take on the world with renewed energy and ease.

Elise Griffin

Vinyasa | Strength + Soul

With over 17 years of personal yoga practice and a strong background in the fitness and wellness industry, Elise brings a depth of experience, intelligence, and embodied understanding to her teaching. With a Bachelor’s degree in Sport & Exercise Science and more than a decade working as a personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and movement coach, Elise bridges the gap between strength, mobility, and mindful movement.

Elise discovered yoga as a powerful complement to her athletic training, and over time it became a central pillar in how she moves, lives, and connects. Her approach is informed by both science and lived experience, blending functional strength, breath awareness, and fluid sequencing. Her classes invite students to feel strong, capable, and supported – meeting their edge with curiosity rather than force.

Elise is deeply passionate about the way yoga supports not only physical health, but nervous system regulation, emotional resilience, and connection. Her classes offer a space that encourages students to build trust in their bodies and confidence in their practice.

Above all, Elise is committed to creating a welcoming environment where students can deepen their relationship with movement and carry the benefits of their practice beyond the mat and into everyday life.
